Artist Statement

My artistic practice is a perpetual journey of self-exploration and spiritual contemplation. Through abstract forms, I navigate the interplay of light and shadow, fueled by a curiosity to understand the role of art within the human experience.

Rooted in a foundation of drawing, my early work used charcoal on paper to explore lifecycles colored by vulnerability and distress. This period was deeply informed by Buddhist philosophies of mindfulness and impermanence—themes that continue to anchor my process.

Seeking greater tactile depth, my practice has since evolved into ceramic sculpture. Working in three-dimensional space allows me to translate the intricate lines of my drawings into physical visualizations of the inner psyche. These pieces challenge the boundaries between the seen and unseen, echoing a constant flux of spiritual awareness.

Ultimately, my work aims to create moments of connection and introspection. I invite the audience to join me in navigating vulnerability and striving for harmony amidst the complexities of life.
